![]() ![]() Retro compatibility has always been respected in REAPER, it has always been a point of honor for Justin. First time in my life using reaper since v3 on a daily basis where I CAN'T update REAPER if I want to work properly! I know that there is a brand new feature for switching key and mousemap but for guys like me with an heavy customed configuration, losing all the custom actions, toolbars and script that are containing those actions is a bit rude. I noticed THREE important missing feature in the brand new reaper 7Ģ-> the Theme adjuster miss some pages, we can't hide/show tcp button anymoreģ -> the actions like "set mouse modifiers to". As a stop-gap solution, you can opt to use the R6 theme instead. It might even save you from other bad surprises and give you some good ones!Ģ. ![]() Please refer to the "What's New in REAPER 7" summary document for detailed explanations and instructions. Modifications in REAPER 7 should make the distinction between the different functions more evident. With the introduction of virtual spacers in R7 this gets even more complicated. ![]() People have ended up creating folders when they don't want to, or having the problem that you are now having. A common complaint has been that the difference in methods isn't always obvious. Drag and drop has up to now had two possible functions - to reorder tracks, or put tracks into a folder. There has been a fine tuning of the method which also adds more functionality. And what's more, I noticed this while using reaper 7 for 3 minutes, what will be the next surprises like this?ġ. When we use a DAW as a professional, it's quite difficult to accept that updating your main tool is a big obstacle. here, there, now, I feel a little frustrated. Ģ-> the Theme adjuster miss some pages, we can't hide/show tcp button anymore. ![]() That was super convenient and it's not working in the current 7.001 version. 1 -> Unable to built folder tracks by dragging a track or a multiple selection of track into another. ![]()
